Letter from the Chairman - An Invitation
We have almost completed a project of great importance for Methven.
The refurbishment of the Mount Hutt Memorial Hall has enabled a building that has served the community well, over many years, to receive a well-earned facelift.
The extended building incorporates many important local stories and present Methven as a modern, future-orientated community with a fascinating history.
It creates an avenue for funds to come into the area and provide the people of Methven with a valuable resource that will contribute towards Methven’s character, make it a ‘place for all seasons’ and contribute to the economic viability of the community as a whole.
This fundraising campaign provides an opportunity for individuals and businesses to participate and be partners in Methven’s future.
We have nearly reached our target, but we still need some more help.
We invite others to share in the telling of this story of mountains and plains, of work and play, and of the people who call this home.
